We have no progressed to the time of year when harvest time has arrived. Everything has to be harvested, checked and sorted out. All has to be divided equally and some has to be saved for the future. The cool winds of fall are beginning to blow and that is how we perceive the people born during this time period, with a little cool exterior. They are ripe, ripe before their time, busy, exact, detail oriented, careful and hard working. Everything gets checked and double checked and that holds true for their opinion too. Virgo will give his opinion freely but with hesitation.

Passion will rarely overtake their thinking because all is thought out carefully and logically.

This is the sign of order. There are no other people in the other 11 signs who are as neat or tidy, accurate, orderly, diligent and proper as the Virgo's are.

Virgo accepts symmetry, clean boundaries and dimensions. They demand order in their work and life, everything will be done, step by step, one after the other. Anything massive Virgo dislikes.

Virgo loves: Order, exactness, certainty, tidiness, firmness, moderation, the golden rule, the compromise. He appreciates acknowledgment, he accept it and needs it. He adheres to the moral code. The Virgo censures others but does not like to be censured himself.

Virgo hates: The formless, shapeless, the unknown, the unprepared, impulsiveness, waste, thoughtlessness, unclean, untidiness, filthy and unreasonable.

He rarely misplaces or loses things, he knows exactly where they are. Third drawer from the top, over to the left with a rubber band around it If Virgo becomes an extrovert, he will go to extremes with cleanliness. He is concerned about his surrounding being clean because that is how he lives his life too. Proper!

His fairness makes him a good critic and analyst. If you want an opinion of another person, seek out a Virgo because he will tell you honestly but with hesitation. He is not a gossiper, he is trustworthy and always fair. Virgo is industrious, hard working, detailed and methodical. They need the routine and the detail, duty for him is written in capitol letters.

They are born Teachers, Professors, Lawyers, Chancellors, Bookkeepers, Hairdressers and Nurses. Any profession that is service oriented is what Virgo wants and needs.

Being late is a crime, overtime the norm. Praise him and he will work that much harder, he needs it, it's a validation and he needs it more than any other sign. He does not want flattery like the Leo, he wants the acknowledgment and that raises his self esteem to the highest heights. He knows his value and there is no goal that the best of the Virgo's cannot reach.

Goethe was born under the sign of Virgo and we all know that he was a Genius, but even with all the followers and admirers, you could feel the coolness of a fall breeze about him.

Modern science needs the detail oriented, methodical, hard working Virgo's, his keen analysis and dependability are making triumphs possible. Virgo's can collect and store an unbelievable amount of information and knowledge, he collects it like Taurus accumulated wealth and guarded it.

Virgo and Gemini are ruled by the Planet Mercury and are the only two of the Sun signs that share a ruling Planet. Virgo's are not Rulers they are advisor, a specialist who's knowledge and Wisdom is always in demand. His thinking is clear and logical, speculation is not for him, he deals with facts. He dislikes the mysterious, it could even scare him and has a hard time admitting that fact. He is sensible/reasonable skeptic. He looks at Astrology with suspicion but once he can find mathematical/numerical answers, he will accept it. His intuition is very developed and his first impression are usually correct, it is unbearable for him to be thought of as dumb or foolish, and he will not forget it that easily.

The thought about the highest heights and the lowest lows make him dizzy. The Leo's would want to rule over it, Aries and Scorpion would fight over it, Cancer would be scared, Gemini plays with it, Taurus wants to use it. Virgo does not want to rule, he wants to serve. If he has an idea, he will research it and he will make sacrifices to reach that goal and he will reach it because of his quiet determination.

Virgo is not a loner, he needs other people, he feels helpless when he is alone because there is nobody he can serve, he dislikes discord and will be the mediator.

Due to his high moral standards, Virgo has a problem discussing sexual details and he dislikes crudeness.

The Virgo has a coolness about them sometimes but it is really a camouflage for their shyness which you find often with intellectuals. Helping and serving others is their life's goal.
