The beautiful time of year called fall has almost vanished and nature is prepared to let all life go dormant and die. She is fighting one last fruitless battle but has to succumb.

All this is happening at the time the Scorpion is born. It seems that he has to fight a constant battle to stay alive. He does not attack angrily like Aries he feels like he is being attacked from all fronts and he has to defend himself, he sees his fellow human beings as the attacker.

His constant battle has made him seem cruel at times because in extreme cases you will see him walking over corpses to reach or defend his goal. He will make his enemy his prisoners so he can mock them when he feels like it, resistance will not be tolerated it's unthinkable to him that anyone would even try.

Scorpions are strong willed and nobody can get as angry as he can. Cross him and he will never forget that, he may put it aside for years and years but given the chance he will bring it back time and time again without any regrets. He justifies that with his constant need to battle or defend to stay alive.

He is aggressive but mostly to foil an attack by the other. This attack may have never occurred but because of his mistrust where he sees his fellow human beings as his enemies therefor he feels evil coming toward him from all sides. He does not see it as an illusion or an imagination, to him the dangers are real. It is important for him to be alert at all times. This imagined fear plays a big role in his occupation, in his marriage and social life.

Scorpions are born lovers, their intensity and passion are not often matched by others. Any partnerships he has can be very trying because even some of his jokes come across as biting sarcasm or cold irony.

He will help anyone in dire need of help, he will defend that human being but he has no compassion, no pity for them.

He will not glorify anything because to him everything seems to be bad anyhow and he expects it to get even worse in time. He anticipates the bad so he can be ready with a plan when it arrives.

A Scorpion will never give up, never surrender or yield, to him there are only two solutions - wrong assumption - or his, the correct one as he sees it. That he has made enemies, he knows too well but it does not bother him, the opposite, he needs that discord that knowledge alone stimulates him.

Scorpion loves: His strength, knowing he is right, the power over others, dispute, knowing that he has enemies, weapons of all kinds and how to use them to his advantage, the hunt, victory, difficulties and how to overcome them.

Scorpion hates: Others strength even though he respects and admires them in others silently, logic, cowardliness, submissiveness, others good humor, permanent peace, others authority, privilege, demands on him. The list is endless of what he hates goes on and on and he hates well and with intensity.

He has a talent to detect weakness in his opponents, he finds the sore spots easily and uses them to his advantage.

He is a born detective, a spy and as a doctor he finds the cancer before anyone else will and removes it. Nobody understands a criminal like he does because he compares himself with the defender or attacker. A Scorpion will find a crook in a business setting faster than the best detective. He expects his fellow coworkers to be hard working, it is not easy to satisfy him.

He enjoys supremacy and finds delight in others fearing him. If you want to defeat a Scorpion you have to be a Scorpion yourself. His mistrust of his fellow human beings makes him hard to live with because of his jealousy.

Maybe it is unfair to describe him as the most complicated sign of the zodiac because of his tendency to create controversy but he will always be the winner, so how can you compete with him?

When you are in close contact with a Scorpion show a steady hand and strong mind like an animal trainer, don't let him see any weakness you may have and do not confront him, if you do, he will defeat you.

As complicated as he is, you have to admire him for his strength and his ability to survive. He challenges himself to be the best.

Scorpion like Aries is ruled by Mars and you will find many similarities between the two signs. Scorpion is not like the Aquarius who finds solutions to problems magically. Scorpion has to destroy before he can rebuilt, he creates discord to harmonize.
