Aquarius born between January 20th and February 18th.

Winter is in his full glory when the Aquarian people are born. All is frozen and still nothing can be sown or harvested so what is there to do? We might as well huddle together to stay warm and dream about better times to come. Out of this evolves the Aquarius, hoping, wishing and anticipating, those are the main reasons for his existence.

Aquarius does not resign and isolate himself like Capricorn, he hopes and dreams, and unlike the Capricorn, he tries to connect to mankind because he needs the human warmth and togetherness. Since everything in Nature has shut down, what else is there to do but to think, learn and explore in the warmth of his home and surroundings. He knows that he is an achiever and we will find many Poets, Thinkers and Authors born under this sign, more so than in any other sign, he is an individualist.

The Aries perfects and uses what Aquarius thought about, Taurus takes advantage of it, Gemini plays with it or writes about it, Cancer looks at it skeptically at first but than uses it to his advantage. The Leo gives Aquarius a medal for it, Virgo might look at it carefully, Libra finds him bewitching and may marry him. Scorpio is outraged over it, Sagittarius does not pay any attention to it and Capricorn pities him. Aquarius invents by looking forward and backwards like the old Roman God Janus, named the double sighted after whom the month of January was named.

Aquarian's will often look too far ahead and discovers that he may be too far advanced in his thinking. He feels that mankind does not understand him and often calls him crazy, but that does not bother him what they think, he forges forward no matter what.

A good example is Charles Dickens born February 7th and the biggest Inventor the world has known was Thomas Alva Edison born February 11th, 1847.

Aquarians are not just thinkers, a theoretician, he can and will convert his thoughts into practical forms. He is the first one in the Stratosphere and may also be the first in the Bathysphere like Professor Piccard.

Aquarius likes: Thinking, the social life, the Club scene, to organize, modern technology, invention, the interesting and fascinating, the unusual (unorthodox), the thrill, the breathless speed, the Bizarre, the challenge, the eccentric, the baffling, the phenomenal, the sensation, the experiment, the sudden and unforeseen, the secretive, the occult, the riddle and the mysterious.

Aquarius hates: The routine, the conventional, pedantry, stubbornness, boredom, slow thinking and the undecided, aggressiveness or forceful, everything that prevents freedom of movement and dependence on him. He does not hate Solitude, he loves it because he is never alone with himself. He is the opposite of Virgo and Gemini who need people around them.

Many Astrologers are born under this sign. Just as the occult fascinates him and he fantasizes. He can fascinate his fellow man.. if he has not driven them away ahead of time with his views.

We sometimes perceive the Aquarian as being lazy but on the contrary, he is not, he just has his own way of doing things. He may not do anything for days but when he does it looks like he wants to finish everything in one week what may take others a month to complete. This is confusing to a conventional boss or superior and he may perceive Aquarius to be arrogant.

Many times he will see other humans as his ideal and than suffers disappointments quite often. Aquarian's come across as being cool and detached, they distribute love generously to the point that everyone receives only a little.

Just as Leo wants to be the Best all around, Aquarius wants to grow in the intellectual and spiritual. He wants to be first in the undiscovered in the unknown, to cross the Atlantic in a plane like no one has done before him.. He envisions more than the average human because of his futuristic thinking. Aquarian's can be awesome as Hypnotists, as Svengalis or Yogis.

The Aquarian female has her own individuality. They can be great comrades, maybe a little cool and detached but attractive. If she decides to organize, which she is very good at, it is best to head in the opposite direction and hide. Both, girls and women are intellectuals and can be very successful. HE can be a great Detective or Secret Agent due to his exploring-discovering nature. He can latch on to people easily and many will confide in him which he perceives as normal but it is very hard to get to know them. Aquarians are a big Riddle, like opening an envelope sealed with seven secret seals, this does not bother him, it bores him sometimes.

He argues for the sake of arguing and feels he is right almost all the time.
