I was asked to contribute a bio of me to go along with this "disclaimer of my experience (or lack thereof). So here goes.

I was born and raised, for the most part in the south, the second son of a career Navy Petty Officer.

I took more than a casual interest in Astrology at a fairly early age (mid-teens), but only as a possibility of life's many energy sources. I met a remarkable Lady who put me in touch with my innate psychic ability and inspired my interest in Astrology. She also taught me how to divine the tarot. I studied astrology at the time to better understand the transiting aspects on her and our relationship. My study intensified when a Neptune transit spurred me on in this area. That is where I am today.

I am an astrology student, and have been for about 5 years now (my curiosity was there and I met Arcana and that remarkable woman got me interested in all things metaphysical).

This report is a weekly effort. As I continue my study of astrology, I thought it a good learning experience for me to plot the stars movements in the coming week and show positions and aspects that are occurring. Some of you are learned amateurs and/or professional astrologers. It is slightly intimidating sending such amateurish efforts to you folks, and would probably be impossible if it weren't for the fact you are all so very nice.

If I give an interpretation of the effects certain movements and aspects l have plotted, it is based on what I read. There have been many times I am reading astrologers predictions and wondered what planets were involved so I could do my own interpretation. The professional astrologers in the audience temper their book and instruction knowledge with years of experience to present an interpretation that is not based solely on ruler ships and keywords, but also on observed experience. I have very little observed experience. As a consequence my interpretation should I choose to give one will be based primarily on textual research, for the most part. So in instances where I would look at a transit and see two planets oppose one another and see that as the energies of the two, canceling each other out. In some instances (if memory serves moon oppose Saturn, as an example) in certain charts this is actually a beneficial aspect. I'm not even sure that is a good example.

To make a long story short, when that occasion arises where I give an opinion of a given stellar trek or aspect, it is based on as I stated earlier, rulerships and keywords. I will probably also tend to take a look at the negative influences of a given aspect, as I have noted in Astronet and other forums folks tend to want to know the "bad" energies so they can adjust to them. Letting the "good" energies wash over them like ocean surf. Each of you are savvy though, if not as I am, somewhat astrologically challenged, and can garner your own interpretations, tempering that with your personal experience of the aspects involved, and other mitigating or corrupting influences in your own natal chart. I would encourage any of you, and especially the professionals, if you see an error in my interpretation of my stellar location calculations, please email a correction, and I will make the correction.

In addition, since I also divine the Tarot, I thought I would draw a card for the week and look at what it might be trying to tell us.
