Can You Win (Gamble) with Asteroids?

Hello again,

I know I promised to do some more on the Medical asteroids, and I will...however, I thought it might be fun to update you on some of the asteroids we have been playing around with dealing with fiscal matters. WE all like to win, right? Well, most of us do anyway and games of chance have been with us silly humans throughout our known history. Indeed few societies have not. There are some though and to you who do not play games of chance these little rocks can deal with other fortunate things.

You see we are still researching all the little nuances of the asteroids, and my job is to get you all looking to see if what I see is repeatable within your charts. If Mysteries don’t catch your fancy and Medical concerns are not a hot topic for you…I reasoned (Mercury/Pallas/Marye) that winning just might.

I do not advocate gambling…AND DO NOT! Want you to go out and bet the house/car/kids/grocery money… what I would like you to do, providing you already do so on occasion, is to check your chart for these asteroids and their positions when you win and let me know. In other words , if you play and happen to win…check out the positions and let me know.

They can also be helpful in letting you know when and where monetary concerns are when used in conjunctionwith your transits or other chart options. Remember that the ORB is1*…they usually move very quickly and all the other factors in a chart contributeto ANY given situation.

Yesterday 8-3-01, I had put these three in my chart for an upcoming vacation(Odysseus) just to check. Well Low and behold the asteroid Tyche was Conjunct Asteroid MayreAnd, using the radix 90* dial they equaled natal(Radix) Jupiter.
The Formula reads like this;
Marye/Tyche=Jupiter

So of course I had to check this out…
as my husband said, “...take your own advice” (Not easy to do as I have Saturn at 29*Of the 1st house.) But I just had to see because I know the window with my little rocks is fleeting and it would make a Great example of how they sometimes operate.

So I took my $2 and bought 2 tickets, I scratched them at the store …I won $2 and $10, I then purchased a $5.00 lottery ticket and another $3.00 ticket…and won $5.00
I bought one each of each ticket they had left, a total of $5.00 more. Now, I have a $5 lottery ticket, and $4 cash and 3 more scratchers…I scratched 2 of them and nothing…sigh. So…I scratched the last and won $20. This time I figured I had better quit while ahead and bought dinner for us <G>…

Today I wondered if I was still in luck Tyche had moved a bit and so I bought another scratcher and won $30…This was too much and I bought 3 more tickets and took them home with my booty. Well these last three were losers. So there you go. Checking the chart for contraindications I found the Moon had moved into opposition of the formula for a bit…Since it moves even faster than my little asteroids I will start again on the tough assignment and again buy two tickets…research is sooooooo hard!!

Well it is Sunday and my lottery ticket didn’t win. The last 2 tickets I bought netted two more tickets-drizzle drazzle druzzle. So there you have it …small window and fleeting opportunity or coincidence? You be the judge!
It would be fun to know if any of you can tie these three little rocks into your good fortune. Think I better check Fortuna next!

I used the Radix 90degree format but you can also insert them into a normal 12 house/placidus/360* chart or most any type of system you would like.
