Whether you see them as Transneptunian points/planets or Uranian points/planets these 8 bodies or mathematical points seem to have a validity in delineation of a chart. I say this after using them in hundreds of charts; not a very large sample in the overall scheme of things, true, but I was observing their usefulness after having been introduced to them through Martha Wescott Lang. She has used them to her utter satisfaction. As have the multitudes of Uranian/Hamburg Astrologers.
My study was just to see if I found them useful, which indeed I have. I find that when used adjacent to and in conjunction with all the major planets, points and factors most astrologers use they can be illuminating when dealing with the more societal portions of aspect analysis.
I also subscribe to the idea that they are only mathematical points and that they hold with the 'cookbook' (data from observations put into keywords/phrases)interpretations. In other words, (like the ASC and MH points) they work.
Below is Martha's' link and if you are interested I will have a larger list for your personal studies on these factors.(www.treehousemountain .com)
There are 8 TNPs (Transneptunian points)
They are:
Aries Pt.
Admetus
Cupido
Hades
Kronos
Zeus
Vulcanus
Poseidon
Kronos concepts:
Timing, Governments, Entities, Leaders, Things that are 'above', public things, heights, rising, altitude and appraisal of self representation to the world at large (There are more keywords that can be applied and lists of them are available online as are ways to use them within a delineation.)
To give you a couple of limited examples:
Suppose that a client is in negotiations with a corporate entity and that there is a contract to be negotiated and signed -Mercury is in direct motion and the only problem seems to be a hard aspect to the MH from Neptune...so we see just a foggy, unclear perhaps deceptive
Time for important negotiations. We might just tell the client to be sure to have the contracts thoroughly gone over by knowledgeable persons, and then to go over them again themselves just to be sure. I would now throw Kronos into the mix...note the keywords... hoping to be able to see if the Timing would be an important factor or- if in hard aspect to Neptune- perhaps there might be a deception on the part of the Corporate entity to look for. Do you see what I mean?
How about if a client just wants to know what might be in store for them business wise...or if its March and they need to know if the IRS might be thinking about them? I would certainly throw Kronos in. Along with the TNP Kronos is the asteroid Kron....I use him for timing the more personal things in a chart.
