Both of these can provide information about your parents, those who you looked up to as parenting figures or how you might proceed with the job of parenting. They are also about equality issues in relationships, which is another way of thinking about parenting in general.
Fairness . . . accounting issues . . . score-keeping all of the above you can find out about when you look to these two, the signs they occupy and the aspects they are intertwined with.
SO . . . if you have Juno/Hera in afflicted aspect to say Neptune you may have the tendency to just fog over the mess not deal with it, give it to the Ether . . . if its affecting your 6th house you may take the problem to work with you.
. . . with Mercury you would probably have to talk about the issues, a lot . . .
if afflicted you may talk it to death. You get the picture?
It appears to me that these two and others are snapshots of our perceptions while growing up . . . it is good to look at them to see what areas of thinking need to be overhauled or just to say AHA! . . .
Look to the qualities inherent in the houses/signs that these two are in. Aries Hera would see things much differently than Virgo Hera for example.
